Ron and Leslie Diimmel of Port Angeles are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Erika Leann Diimmel, to Graham Randall Lasee, son of Jim and the late Cindy Lasee of Bellingham.
The couple will wed on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at the bride's parent's home in Port Angeles.

Quentin and Lolita Peterson of Bellingham celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. A family dinner was given by their children, Cozette, Gregory and Linda Peterson, grandchildren Drew and Joella Livesey, Ryan Livesey, Quinn Livesey, Gregory and Megan Peterson, Brent Peterson, Tiffany and Josh Arnett. They were married Dec. 23, 1949 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. They have 7 great-grandchildren.

Alexa is the daughter of Todd and Veronica Schafer of Yakima. Jeffrey is the son of Thomas Beckley and Tracy James of Bellingham.

Two Hearts, One Love- Always described this couple's relationship, etched on promise rings, and now a day worth celebrating on 2/1/2010.
In a private ceremony blessed and attended by the groom's parents, Glenn Allen and Agnes Kirkbride of Birch Bay, Glenn and Tonya first committed to each other on June 29, 2009. On February 1, 2010, with their families blessings, they were joined man and wife.
The couple met while working in Baghdad Iraq in the fall of 2007. Glenn, a retired FAA employee with Seattle Center and Tonya, a 26 year Air Force Air Traffic Controller, will honeymoon in Paris France.

Gary and Shirlee Dickerson
On February 13, 2010, Gary and Shirlee Dickerson will celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary at an Open House at Assumption Gym beginning at 6:30 p.m., hosted by their children (Kim, Kevin, Kelly, and Kent).
They were married February 13, 1960 at Assumption Catholic Church in Bellingham, and honeymooned in Disneyland.
Gary founded Dickerson Distributors in 1984 and passed the torch to his sons in 2007. Shirlee retired from Northwest Pediatrics in 2003 after 23 years.
They attribute the success of their marriage to faith, family, friends, and a good sense of humor!

Mary Lee Wiser
Mary Lee Wiser will be honored at a family celebration for her 88th birthday this weekend. She was born 2-2-22 in Rushville, Missouri, and lived in Missouri, Arkansas, California, and Texas before moving to Bellingham in 2001.
She has two daughters, three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

On October 17, 2009, Lesley Kamphouse became the happiest woman on earth because Bert Sorin asked her to marry him on the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway. Bert Sorin subsequently became the happiest man on earth because she said "yes." Together, they would like to announce their happy engagement.
Bert is the son of Mr. Richard Sorin of Irmo, SC and Mr. and Mrs. Pieter Groot of Spartanburg, SC. Lesley is the daughter of Neil Kamphouse of Sumas, and Bonnie and Bryan Allem of Lexington, SC.
The wedding is planned for April 10, 2010 and they will happily reside in Columbia, SC.
