David Fry, the final occupier of the Malheur Wildlife Refuge in rural Oregon, turned himself over to federal authorities on Thursday, Feb. 11. As federal agents surrounded the refuge, audio from the final hours of the standoff was captured on a YouTube live broadcast. After three others turned themselves in, Fry ultimately surrendered peacefully, ending the occupation that began on January 2.
