From the boss: "We aim to have something for every room in the house. Our intention is to find well-designed product that is a good value for its price and gives our customers lots of flexibility." Chris Foss, co-owner with Foster Rose

Reader rave: "They have high-end products that are reasonably priced, a large variety, especially for seasonal decor. I go there all the time. They have various styles of decor, from rustic to modern, so anyone can find something there that they like. I do a lot of Christmas shopping there because I can always find something." Andrea Blake, Bellingham

Highlights: Throughout the light-filled interior of Greenhouse, each section and display follows a theme, which helps shoppers to picture the potential of coordinating the decorations and furniture in their homes. Downstairs shoppers find accessories, dishes, table settings, holiday decorations and a kitchen section (where bamboo cutting boards make a great and eco-friendly renewable gift). Upstairs the sofas, bedroom sets, rugs and tables all fall into color themes meant to inspire customers when designing rooms. Throughout the store, attentive staff members offer expert advice on design or gift ideas for that tough-to-shop-for buddy or co-worker.
