From the boss: "We try to use the freshest, highest-quality ingredients and make our own award-winning dough. We make great pizza and try to do it the same over and over again. We have a warm, inviting, kid-friendly environment." Dan Bothman, owner
Reader rave: "I love the pizza at La Fiamma, with the thin, wood-fired crust and imaginative toppings. It's always baked just right. The Sofia, with prosciutto, onion and rosemary, is my favorite!" Julie Poland, Bellingham
Highlights: La Fiamma's artsy, simple and chic decor, flavor-filled (and funny) menu and varied wood-fired pizza combinations have made this restaurant a favorite of Whatcom County residents for years. Diners feast on 'za from the potato-inspired Spuddy to the tangy, veggie-covered Bella inside the eclectic dining room or outside year-round on the heated porch. The menu also includes soups, salads, pasta, paninis, beverages (the rosemary lemonade is a winning flavor) and, of course, dessert. The gooey chocolate-caramel-marshmallow combination in the Wood-Fire S'more is life-changing.
