From the boss: "It starts with our staff. We take care of our staff so that they enjoy their job so much it becomes infectious. We work hard every single day to improve customer satisfaction. If we work hard to keep our staff happy and our customers happy, everything else falls in to place." Wes Herman, owner
Reader rave: "It doesn't even have to be the best coffee, it's the fact that it has a good atmosphere and it's locally owned, and the coffee tastes great, too. I used to have a specific drink I liked at each place, but now Woods really has it all." Angela Abshere, Blaine
Highlights: Founded by the Herman family of Lynden in 2002, The Woods Coffee offers more than steamy beverages at each of its seven Whatcom County locations. Customers enjoy a wide selection of coffees, teas, blended drinks and baked goods as well as free wireless Internet access, a friendly atmosphere and some especially inviting locations. The popular Boulevard Park coffeehouse provides a warm spot to thaw out and relax with a hot chocolate or any favorite holiday drink during a chilly afternoon at the park, complete with unbeatable views of Bellingham Bay.
