From the boss: "It's about delicious food and good service and that's what we try to improve every single day. We never stop. Thank you to the customers who have chosen On Rice as the best Asian restaurant." Ken Tipasathien, owner
Reader rave: "The restaurant is really quite pleasant to be in. On Rice can be very busy, but I never feel like I'm shouting or competing to have a conversation. We like the ambiance, it's a very pleasant atmosphere, relaxing and easy to have conversations." Sharon Atkins, Bellingham
Highlights: Each of On Rice's three locations around Bellingham offers a slightly different atmosphere, from the smaller, more upscale bistro in Fairhaven, to the spacious dining room on Samish Way. All the restaurants are decorated with authentic paintings and sculptures, as well as bamboo and fish tanks, which give customers a taste of Thailand for the eyes as well as the tummy. The casual and family-friendly atmosphere allows for quick business lunches or leisurely dinner conversations.
On a cold, windy day, diners can warm themselves amidst this Southeast Asian decor with spicy curries, delicate spring rolls and delectable noodle dishes such as pad thai.
