From the boss: "Our goal here is to provide a venue that provides every type of music and event that appeals to everyone in our community." Craig Jewell, who is leasing to co-own the bar
Reader rave: "It's got a great mix of ages that frequent the bar. It has a great group of people who perform there - everything from local people who I really like to national groups who are touring. It's one of the places I go to in town where I feel really comfortable mixing with lots of different people." Gale Grove, Bellingham
Highlights: Wild Buffalo has something to offer every music lover. The venue brings local and national bands ranging from hip hop and rock to bluegrass and pop, and features events such as Acoustic Oasis Open Mic night on Tuesdays, the Monday Night Funk Club and a swing night on the first Sunday of every month.
With vivid decor ranging from colorful paintings of music and whimsical wall-hangings of straw, ties and quilts to a cloud-spotted sky painted on the ceiling and the head and hoof of a buffalo that seem to be bursting through the wall above the bar, Wild Buffalo offers a vibrant atmosphere for its diverse clientele. Long may it roam.
