From the boss: "We wanted to offer treatments that were not only amazing and results oriented but focused on the quality of the products we use and the care of the guest. We do extensive training with our staff to make sure they are all trained on each of treatments." Spa director Sandi Robb
Reader rave: "My best friend was in town visiting from Chicago and we both booked a massage, facial and spa manicure/pedicure. My friend was very impressed with the services she received and the price paid. The staff was extremely professional and accommodating. My friend who regularly visits spas, said that it was the best facial she had ever gotten." Maria Krzysiek. Bellingham. Highlights: Set within a destination boutique hotel in Fairhaven, this 3,800-square-foot spa underwent a $400,000 renovation this summer. The new look includes soothing muted greens and yellows, more fountains and ponds, an added make-up area and a reconfigured area for the spa's signature Turkish Rhassoul treatment (Moroccan mud is painted on then rinsed off by a waterfall). Guests are now greeted by a concierge outside of the spa in the lobby next to the hotel's curved staircase. Holiday gift ideas range from gift certificates for spa treatments to scented neck wraps, candles, bath products and the Chrysalis's line of Bellingham-made body products.
