Bellingham Maaco earns corporate recognition

Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting in Bellingham has been named a certified center by the franchise chain's home office.

The designation certifies the facility's image, service, equipment and operating procedures. Currently, 275 of 475 stores are certified, and it is anticipated that all will pass inspection by the end of 2009. The Bellingham facility at 1515 Iowa St. opened earlier this year.

"We're proud to be meet Maaco's highest standards for customer satisfaction, quality, courtesy and professionalism," said Marvin Bohall, operator of the franchise, in a press release. "Our aim is to deliver the highest level of quality repair work and professional service for each and every customer."

Maaco repairs and paints close to 650,000 vehicles each year and has repaired 17 million vehicles since 1972. MAACO Franchising, Inc. is headquartered in King of Prussia, Pa.
