A computer sales and repair company has shut down its last two stores, including one in Bellingham.

CompuCare closed its store at the Fred Meyer shopping center on Bakerview Road last week, as well as a store in Tacoma, according to the company's Web site, compucare.com.

In a release on the Web site, the company cited "economic constraints" as the reason for the closure. It went on to say that all warranties will be honored by its sister company, ComputerStop, at its Bellevue location. The phone number for the Bellevue store is (425) 644-5400.

CompuCare opened its Bellingham store nine years ago on Meridian Street, moving to its Bakerview spot in March 2007. Along with selling computers and doing repairs, the store built custom computer systems.
