Architectural design awards to be held at Western Washington University

The 19th annual Architectural Design Awards will be held on Thursday, Dec. 11 at Western Washington University.

The event, sponsored by the Northwest Washington Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Western's Academic Instructional Center.

Doors open at 6:00 pm, at which time projects will be available for viewing during a hors d'oeuvre and no-host bar hour in the lobby. The 2008 Design Awards program will be held in the auditorium from 7:30 to 9 pm, followed by a dessert buffet hosted in the lobby. There will be an opportunity to vote for the People's Choice Award.
