Deja View Picture Framing in Ferndale is hosting two open house evenings for the Christmas season. Each evening will present local artist's paintings, prints, and cards.
On Saturday, Nov. 29, Lummi Island artist Ria Harboe will show her original acrylic paintings and cards.
Harboe has shown locally in Bellingham, Lummi Island's studio tours, and through out the northwest. Her style focuses on Northwest and Antarctic landscape imagery, and musical themes. Her work can be previewed at www.ria-harboe.com.
On Saturday, Dec. 6, there will be two Ferndale residents, Elsie Thorson and Candace Doering, showing their work.
Thorson is an established watercolor and acrylic artist known for her contemporary interpretation of nature. Seasonal cards will also be available. Doering will be showing her colored-pencil pieces.
Deja View Picture Framing gallery is at 2042 Vista Drive in Ferndale. The open house events will be between 3 and 8 p.m. Call 380-0979 for more details.
