Green mortgages will be topic at upcoming home expo in Bellingham

Susan Templeton, a local mortgage planner and owner of Loannetter, will speak about green mortgages at the Fall Green Home and Living Expo Nov. 1 at the Bellingham Cruise Terminal.

The event, sponsored by the local Built Green division of the Building Industry Association of Whatcom County, will feature a free public expo for homeowners.

A member of the National Association of Mortgage Fiduciaries, The Ethical Lending Foundation, and the National Association of Mortgage Brokers, Templeton specializes in working with first time buyers, veterans and homeowners building or renovating their homes.

Templeton is also founding director of Focus Northwest, a nonprofit business network.
