PAIR JOINS EDWARD JONES OFFICE

The Edward Jones office in Lynden’s Bender Plaza recently added financial advisers Brett Hendricks and Will Mouat.

Hendricks, a Lynden native, graduated from Lynden Christian High School and has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Dordt College. He managed a local construction company for five years and served in sales and marketing for three years at a local lumberyard.

Mouat transferred from the Edward Jones office in La Grande, Ore., to return to the area where he grew up. Mouat has been a high school teacher, then joined the U.S. Navy after 9/11 and served as a naval intelligence officer for five years.

Both Hendricks and Mouat will help former clients of Brian Smith, who was promoted to an Edward Jones office in Crescent City, Calif., where he will be closer to family. Joan Kayser, senior branch office administrator, remains at the Bender Plaza office.

Edward Jones helps clients plan for investment, retirement and education accounts. Its wide range of financial products includes stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, certificates of deposit, life insurance and long-term-care insurance.

WCAR HONORS MCBEATH, WEAVER

The Whatcom County Association of Realtors recently presented its third-quarter awards to Matt McBeath of RE/MAX Whatcom County and Sandy Weaver of Chicago Title.

McBeath was named WCAR’s Realtor of the Third Quarter.
