StarTouch Inc., a Whatcom County-based Internet service provider since 1998, has expanded its wireless broadband services to Eastern Washington cities including Yakima, Naches and Selah.
This new network is being expanded off StarTouch's privately-owned microwave "backbone" that now runs through Yakima, Selah, Spokane and into Idaho, according to a company press release. It connects to StarTouch's previously existing Western Washington network that reaches from the Canadian border to Seattle.
"We have the backbone in place to reach from city to city with our microwave tower systems," said Stacie Scheffer, StarTouch's operations manager, in a press release. "We are able to bring individual, scalable-speed connections to individual locations whether they have a small home office or they're an enterprise-class client with the highest demands for speed and quality service."
StarTouch Inc. is at 1354 Pacific Place, Suite 102, in Ferndale. For details about the company, visit startouch.com.
