New consignment store opens in Birch Bay

BIRCH BAY - Pat and Susan Brush opened Birch Bay Consignment & Thrift on Oct. 1, in Terrell Creek Landing at 4819 Alderson Road.

The store is next to another Brush business, Birch Bay Hair Care, now in its third year.

The new store features men's, women's and children's clothing along with household items, collectibles, sporting goods, books and furniture. Locally crafted homemade clothing also will be for sale, and the store is looking for local designers who wish to market their work.

The store is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Consignment and donations are accepted during business hours. The store also is a drop-off site for the Birch Bay Food Bank. The phone number is 371-3700.
