LEGION BASEBALL: Buckham leads Post 7 AA to two wins

Kyle Buckham led the Bellingham Post 7 AA team to two wins on Friday, July 3, at Burlington to finish off the conference season.

In the first game, a 7-6 victory, Buckham (5-0) pitched a complete game with no strikeouts and one walk and went 2 for 3 at the plate with a run scored. John Albert was 2 for 3 with three runs and an RBI and Ben Wilson was 2 for 3 with a run and an RBI.

In the second game, a 10-3 victory, Buckham played catcher and went 1 for 2 with two runs and three RBI.

Elijah Christie was 2 for 4 with a run and two RBI, Sean Hagerty was 3 for 5 with a run and two RBI and Quin Moore (4-1) pitched a complete game, striking out three and walking none, to earn the victory.

Post 7 (12-4 in conference, 21-6 overall) is at a tournament in Yakima to finish up the regular season and then starts district tournament play after that.
