The Bellingham Bells evened their record after a 6-4 victory over the Kelowna Falcons in West Coast League baseball action on Thursday, July 2, at Joe Martin Field.
The Bells upped their record to 9-9.
Bellingham scored two runs to take a 3-1 lead in the third inning, highlighted by a Mike Chiarelli RBI double. Chris Amezquita's RBI double highlighted a two-run fifth inning as the Bells took a 5-2 lead and never looked back.
Garrett DeRooy picked up the win in relief to improve to 2-0. Seth Harvey recorded his third save for the Bells.
Bellingham hosts Kitsap at 7 p.m. Friday, July 3, at Joe Martin Field.
