Squalicum's Hannah Webster's grand slam in the third inning sparked a 5-0 lead that eventually turned into a 15-5 nonconference softball win over host Bellingham in Squalicum on Thursday, April 2.

Jackie Striggow answered with a two-run double to rally a five-run third for the Red Raiders (0-7), but the Storm (2-6) roared back with eight runs in the fourth.

Webster was 3 for 4 with six RBI and Nicola Follis was 4 for 4 with four runs scored, five stolen bases and an RBI.

"We were looking pretty good and they came right back," Squalicum coach Rick Ellis said in a phone interview. "We answered the bell the next time around. We just challenged them a little bit."
