Western Washington University women's basketball coach Carmen Dolfo announced Friday, Nov. 21, that Kendall Williams, a center at White River High School in Buckley and point guard Corinn Waltrip, a point guard at Tigard (Ore.) High School, have signed national letters of intent to play for the Vikings next season.
The 6-foot-1 Williams averaged 13.0 points and 10.0 rebounds for the Hornets as a junior, receiving honorable mention all-South Puget Sound League recognition.
The 5-5 Waltrip was a first-team all-Pacific Conference pick as a junior, averaging 15.2 points in helping the Tigers to a share of the league title and the first round of the Class 6A state playoffs.
