PREP CROSS COUNTRY: Ferndale's Morrison makes state

Ferndale's Megan Morrison earned a trip to state, finishing 9th overall at the 3A Northwest District girls' cross country meet at South Whidbey High School on Saturday, Nov. 1.
Morrison finished the 5k course in 21 minutes. Glacier Peak's Brenna Condon finished first with a time of 20:06.68.
Ferndale finished 7th in team standings with 146 points. Glacier Peak won the meet with a score of 21.
