PREP VOLLEYBALL: Meridian tops NV in four

Bree Park registered 14 kills and 22 digs to lead Meridian to a 25-11, 26-28, 25-17, 25-16 Northwest Conference volleyball win over Nooksack Valley on Tuesday, Sept. 29.

Aimee Hofbauer added 10 kills for the Trojans (3-1 NWC, 4-1 overall) while Hattie Midboe chipped in 18 digs and Maddy Oltman had 27 kills.

Allison Johnson had 11 kills to lead the Pioneers, who remain winless on the year and in league play after four matches. Senior Kristie Lagerway had 24 digs for Nooksack.

"We need to clean up the errors and be a little more consistent to be successful," Nooksack Valley coach Allison Mitchell said.

The Trojans travel to Lynden and the Pioneers host Sedro-Woolley in conference matchups at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 1.
