Hammerhead Coffee Roasters is marking its two-year anniversary from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, with a coffee tasting and celebration at its Greene's Corner location.
The local roaster will have free drip coffee samples, including of its newest blend, American Cremative. Head roaster Scott Hartwich will be on hand to answer any questions about Hammerhead or its processes. Roasting is done on site every day.
Some goodies also will be available from Nico's Pizza and Fools Onion Catering, which share the Greene's Corner space at 5305 Northwest Drive, near the Northwest Soccer Park.
Hammerhead Coffee is available at spots throughout Whatcom County, including served as drip at Nimbus and Jump Around Fun Zone; as drip and espresso at Stompin' Grounds and Supreme Bean Coffee Café; as espresso and as an ingredient in coffee/dark chocolate bark at Chocolate Necessities; and sold in bean form at both Community Food Co-op locations.
The Greene's Corner location sells drip, espresso and a wide variety of whole beans. It has a drive-thru and an inside location with seating.
