Opening night Saturday at Deming Speedway belonged to Austin Wheatley in the Frontier Cheverolet/Speedmart 600s.
Wheatley won his first main event in the 600 class leading all 20 laps of the main.
Derek Holmwood took home the win in the Lifestyles RV 1200s, Spud Allen was the man to beat all night in the Advanced Sprint Car and Toys for Trucks 250s, Tyler Anderson led all 20 laps to win the PMP Chassis 600 restricted main and Austin Sheridan won the Kasey Kahne Jr Sprint main.
