The Alger Community Church will host a vigil Friday, Sept. 5, to mourn the six people killed in the area during Tuesday's shooting spree.
The vigil will be open to the public and will start at 8 p.m. The church has invited members of the Skagit County Sheriff's Office, the Washington State Patrol, emergency medical services and volunteer firefighters.
The church is off Old Highway 99 and is one-quarter of a mile north of the highway's intersection with Lake Samish Road.
