Turner Senior Services, Inc. recently purchased Pacific Northwest Retirement and changed the publication from a bi-monthly offering into a monthly publication.

The magazine's name has also changed to Northwest Retirement Magazine, according to a company press release.

New owners Diane and Gary Turner plan to have the magazine focus on the growing population of people over fifty in the Northwest. As a free publication, Northwest Retirement Magazine distributes 10,000 copies to Whatcom, Skagit, Snohomish and King Counties as well as lower British Columbia.

As editor and publisher, Diane Turner brings to the magazine 20 years of experience as a marketing director for hospital corporations, published a fiction book five years ago and holds a bachelor degree in communication and a master degree in organizational leadership.

Gary Turner is the business manager and has led hospitals as a CEO in California and Oregon.
