Bike show raises money for hospice foundation

BELLINGHAM - The second annual Haggen Bike Show will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, at the Meridian Street Haggen.
Motorcyclists can enter their ride and compete to win prizes in one of five categories: best of show, best classic, best cruser, best custom and best sport bike. Registration is $10, and lasts until the day of the event.
The show and a barbecue during it are fundraisers for the Whatcom Hospice Foundation, a nonprofit that provides patient care, therapy, medical equipment and other supplies to patients with advanced illnesses.
People can give donations in order to participate in the barbeque.
