Grant will go to water education at YMCA

Whatcom Family YMCA recently received a $1,000 grant from Huggies Little Swimmers, a product of the Kimberly-Clark Corp., to enhance their YMCA Parent/Child Aquatic Enrichment Program.

The parent-child swim program is designed for children ages 6 months to 36 months in underserved and/or unreached populations. Specifically, the Whatcom Family YMCA will reach out to families in need of assistance in providing water education for family members.
