BELLINGHAM — Grrrl Riders, a group of female motorcycle riders from Whatcom and Skagit counties, will have a poker run Saturday to benefit Bikers Fighting Cancer.
The poker run, which begins at The Woods Coffee in Boulevard Park, will stop in Everson, Acme, Sedro-Woolley and Alger, and will end at The Longhorn Saloon and Grill in Bow, according to Sarah Newman, a Grrrl Riders member.
At each stop, riders will pick up a card; whoever has the best poker hand at the end of the run wins, Newman said.
Registration will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Boulevard Park. Cost is $15 per rider, with donations from passengers requested.
Bikers Fighting Cancer is a nonprofit that helps children who have cancer and their families, according to Patrick Healy, president of Bikers Fighting Cancer.
