Nonprofit agency seeking names of Whatcom County military personnel serving overseas

Whatcom Homefront, a nonprofit group supporting military personnel from Whatcom County, is looking for names of people currently stationed overseas so they can be sent personal care packages.

Since November 2003, the local group has sent packages containing food, personal care items, reading material, letters and other small items overseas every 8 to 12 weeks.

If you know someone with Whatcom County connections serving overseas, send their name, troop name, military address and contact information for a local person to Whatcom Homefront at whatcommilitary@yahoo.com.
