Captain Gravel
Seattle acoustic bluegrass band Captain Gravel is coming to Bellingham on Saturday night. The band will bring its folk and Southern gospel-influenced tunes to the Green Frog Cafe Acoustic Tavern, 902 N. State St.
The band is Michael Connolly on fiddle, Andy Simmons on bass, Miller McNay on mandolin, Chad Gibson on guitar and Will Roberts on banjo. The band’s members come from all over the place, and each brings his own unique influence to the band. The band released its first full-length album in 2006 titled “Mountain Lair.” The string group frequently plays in Seattle, often at the Tractor Tavern or Conor Bryne Pub.
