Thumbs up - To increased ridership on Amtrak routes through Bellingham. We encourage more people to seek alternatives when travelling to Seattle and Vancouver.
Thumbs Down - To higher obesity rates in Whatcom County. A new report says 26 percent of adults here are obese, up from 17 percent in 2002. That's simply unhealthy.
