Thumbs up - To talk of a new development in Fairhaven that would mimic the historic Fairhaven Hotel, once the symbol of the village. It burned down in the 1950s.
Thumbs Down - To the estimated 250,000 people who are HIV positive, but don't know it, according to federal officials. Those at risk should get tested regularly for health's sake.
