Thumbs up - To organizers of this year's 19th Annual Kids' Festival, which was held with great fun for thousands of Bellingham kids last weekend at Bloedel Donovan Park.

Thumbs Down - To the plankton blooms that are destroying commercial fisheries in our region this summer. We encourage officials to look at what is causing the blooms.
