Monday thumbs: A Blaine lighthouse and the dying CMPD

Thumbs up - To the idea of a new Blaine lighthouse. Assuming it doesn't cost taxpayers much, it would be nice to see a new lighthouse to replace the one torn down in 1944.
Thumbs Down - To the Chuckanut Mountain Park District. A court ruled last week that the paperwork filed by supporters was done so incorrectly. We hope the idea now fades.
