Bail set for mom charged after son OD's on meth

— Bail has been set at $250,000 for a Washington woman charged with manslaughter after her toddler died of a meth overdose.

Alyia Iverson pleaded not guilty at her arraignment Wednesday in Pierce County Superior Court. She is being held at the Pierce County jail.

Prosecutors say the woman's 2-year-old son had ingested enough methamphetamine to kill an adult when his mother noticed he wasn't breathing in December 2012.

The News Tribune ( reports that Court Commissioner Meagan Foley ordered Iverson to stay away from children should she make bail.
