United battle to 3-3 draw

THE BELLINGHAM HERALDJuly 13, 2014

With both team already eliminated from the Evergreen Premier League title hunt, Bellingham United and the Seattle Stars fought to a 3-3 draw on Saturday, July 12, at Civic Stadium.

Tyler Bjork netted his team-leading 12th goal of the season in the 27th minute, Tye Hastings found the net in the 65th and Mo Marenah put one in at the 76th minute. But the Stars equalized in the 32nd, the 69th and the 86th to stifle United's hopes of a win.

Bellingham United is now 6-5-2 and will end the season against the best the league has to offer in South Sound FC on Friday, July 18, at Civic Stadium.
