Warehouse Rock Gym in Olympia will host a rock climbing competition later this month, the newest event during this year’s Washington State Senior Games.

There will be climbing for two levels of competitors, those who have little or no experience climbing, and those with at least one year of climbing. The event is open only to those people 50 years and older.

The event will take place July 26, with a rules meeting at 10 a.m. The competition will be from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. The gym is at 315 Jefferson St. NE, Olympia.

The cost is $9 per person, and includes all the equipment.
