Boat tours offer views, plans about future of Bellingham waterfront

People can view Bellingham's waterfront from the water while Port of Bellingham representatives offer details on planned redevelopment and a vision of what the waterfront could look like in the future, during cruises offered by San Juan Cruises on July 17 and 31 and Aug. 14 and 28.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for children 6 to 17. The boat leaves at 6:30 p.m.; the outing lasts about two hours. Check in about 30 minutes early to pick up tickets.
