Mount Baker Theatre launches summer rep season July 15

Neil Simon's witty comedy, "Last of the Red Hot Lovers," opens at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, part of Mount Baker Theatre's Summer Repertory Series, at Mount Baker's Walton Theatre, 104 N. Commercial St. in Bellingham.

Mount Baker Theatre's Summer Repertory Series presents "Talley's Folly," a warmhearted story about romance written by Lanford Wilson and winner of the 1980 Pulitzer Prize and the New York Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Play of the season, opening at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 15.

"Talley's Folly" plays alternately with Neil Simon's witty comedy, "Last of the Red Hot Lovers," which opens at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, and with Steven Dietz' "Becky's New Car," a play about a woman caught in midlife crisis, opening at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 17.

All plays are staged at Mount Baker's Walton Theatre, 104 N. Commercial St. Tickets are $25 general, $12.50 students. Details: 360-734-6080, mountbakertheatre.com.
