Recalls wisdom of Roosevelt

I was recently reviewing photos from a wonderful trip I took up the east coast from Florida to D.C.. While in D.C. I visited a number of our national monuments and memorials including Franklin Delano Roosevelt's. I came across a photo of one of FDR's quotes. I believe this quote is even more apt today then when it was uttered many years ago. "The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much, it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little."

FDR got this nation through a Great Depression and a World War. Perhaps the man had some good insight.
