THE BELLINGHAM HERALDJuly 8, 2014

Bellingham artist Melissa Bishop exhibits her paintings at Buethorn Watercolor Studio, 301 W. Holly St, from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 11, during the monthly Downtown Art Walk, showing through the end of August.

The studio is normally open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays.

The exhibit reflects Bishop's ongoing absorption in the works of Corot, Leger, Blake, Ryder and Inness. Her subject matter is landscapes with trees, and still lifes filled with birds and flowers.
