Sounders and U.S. national team defender DeAndre Yedlin was back at training today, fielding questions about his World Cup experiences and the transfer rumors surrounding him.

I’ll break those into separate posts, starting here with what he had to say about the transfer reports that have him bound for AC Roma or elsewhere.

“I’m kind of letting just my representatives take care of that,” Yedlin said. “They’ll obviously get back to me on that information. But for now I’m just focused on Seattle, focused on hopefully winning MLS Cup and looking to come back and do well.”

On if he has always wanted to play in Europe: Yeah, but I mean the MLS is such a growing league. The MLS is really getting up there and it’s becoming one of the top leagues in the world. So obviously that shifts a little bit as the MLS gets better and better.

I’ll be back with more from Yedlin as soon as I can type it.
