Skagit troupe presents Shakespeare in rock-quarry amphitheater

Skagit County's Shakespeare Northwest presents the tragedy "Macbeth" and the comedy "Much Ado About Nothing," playing alternately, Thursday, July 10, through Aug. 16 at Rexville-Blackrock Amphitheater, an old rock quarry at 19299 Rexville Grange Road, between Conway and La Conner.

Picnics, lawn chairs and blankets are welcome; but no dogs, please. Tickets are $12 general, $10 students, $30 for family of four, through Brown Paper Tickets.

At the "Iron Man" performance, see "Much Ado" at 1 p.m., "To Be or Not TV2" at 4 p.m. and "Macbeth" at 7 p.m. The $30 ticket includes all three shows, plus an "Iron Man" T-shirt.
