CONSERVATION: Harbor WildWatch moves to new location

jeff.mayor@thenewstribune.comJuly 6, 2014

Harbor WildWatch has moved its office and display materials to the Historic Skansie Brothers House at 3207 Harborview Drive, Gig Harbor.

Working with the city, the group will open the Skansie Visitor Information Center, offering residents, visitors and boaters a place to learn what is going on in Gig Harbor.

The group has a long connection with the park, holding its first event at Jerisich Dock 10 years ago. The information center will open July 30 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. For the remainder of the summer, it will be open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesdays-Sundays.
