The Port of Bellingham invites local photographers to spend an afternoon at the former Georgia-Pacific mill property on Bellingham's waterfront during two guided photography walking tours.

The free tours will be 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, and Wednesday, Aug. 6.

The property is part of the 237-acre Waterfront District the port and City of Bellingham are redeveloping. Because of ongoing demolition, environmental cleanup and site preparation work, the property is not open to the general public.

Each tour can accommodate up to 16 photographers, so advanced registration is required. Details and registration are at portofbellingham.com/phototour. Questions: 360-676-2500, info@portofbellingham.com.
