Cramer leads Bells to 3-1 win over Cowlitz


Bells starting pitcher Gabe Cramer threw six innings of shutout, four-hit ball to lead Bellingham to a 3-1 West Coast League win over the Cowlitz Bears on Saturday, July 25, in Bellingham.

The Bells broke a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the eighth thanks to a Dallas Carroll RBI single and a wild pitch that put Bellingham in front 3-1.

Closer David Bigelow worked the top of the ninth for the save.

Carroll and Walker Olis led the Bells with two hits apiece.

Bellingham has an off-day Sunday before hosting the Kitsap BlueJackets at 7:05 p.m. Monday, July 7, at Joe Martin Field.
