Grovestock concert in Ferndale supports food banks

Matney Cook is just one of the performers scheduled to appear at Grovestock 2014, a music festival starting at noon and continuing for 12 hours, Friday, July 4 at 7052 Tatlow Lane in Ferndale.

Grovestock 2014 features live music, starting at noon and with continuous jamming for 12 hours, Friday, July 4, at 7052 Tatlow Lane, Ferndale.

Musical guests include The Mark, The Vonvettas, Scott Greene Band, Finn Doxie, Lonebird, JP Falcon Grady, Callow, Boris Budd, Stone Jones, Matney Cook, Quinton Rundell, Sam Chue, Bob Paltrow, Tee King, and The Jaded Lovers.

The family-friendly event is designed to raise awareness for dementia and Alzheimer's disease, and to collect donations for local food banks.

Gates open at 11 a.m. Tents are welcome, but please RSVP for camping.

Admission is $10 adults, $5 kids, plus a can of food for food banks. No dogs allowed.
