Author Tom Robbins comes to Village Books to read from his memoir

In "Tibetan Peach Pie: A True Account of an Imaginative Life," La Conner's Tom Robbins turns his literary sensibility inward, weaving stories of his unconventional life, from his Appalachian childhood to his globe-trotting adventures, told in his voice that combines the sweet and the sly, the spiritual and the earthy.

He will share his book at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 29, at Village Books, 1200 11th St.
