Village Books celebrates sassy literary character Junie B. Jones

THE BELLINGHAM HERALDJune 26, 2014

Fans of that sassy children's literature character Junie B. Jones can have fun with Junie B., That Grace and her dog Tickle with a free event for ages 5-8 from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 28, at Village Books, 1200 11th St., in the Fairhaven shopping district.

Join Claire in the downstairs Readings Gallery for games, a craft, and selections from the classic books by Barbara Park.

It's a beach theme, and participants are encouraged to dress for a day at the shore. Despite the gray forecast, the party will move outside if weather permits. All Junie B. Jones books will be 15 percent off for participants on Saturday.
